Our plug-in reporting and analytics solution can sit downstream of any core platform. AUM data is aggregated across platforms, whilst control checks ensure that all data is complete, standardised and ready for use. What’s more, you can choose whether to have monthly, daily or real time aggregation.
One of the most powerful outcomes of our tool is the ability to structure the data in the way the business operates. For example, different rate cards across multiple platforms can be structured and understood before taking decisions on whether any changes are required.
Hyper-segmentation across the asset book
Based on individual client accounts, our solution sources your AUM data and integrates with all the data elements available from your client static. Drill down to individual position level data to get a detailed view of individual holdings. Drill up from an individual investment manager’s book to a group level view.
Data structures allow segmentation across Branch, Service Category, Channel, Client Size and up to 10 additional fields. View the segments individually or in any combination to give any number of analytical capabilities.
Ad hoc queries can be resolved quickly and confidently, whilst trend analysis helps uncover meaningful insights.
Prior period AUM +/- Movements = Current Period AUM
Unlike many data analytics tools, our solution tracks your asset book over time. Once sourced, data is stored and can be easily accessed via the in-memory analytics tool.
All the aggregation and segmentation capability for the AUM data applies to movements. Inflows, Outflows, Transfers and Investment Performance are tracked by CF30, Branch, Client Type, Channel etc and many other business dimensions.
The basic premise for movements is that everything stacks up. For each and every client account: Prior period AUM +/- movements = current period AUM. Year to date analysis works in exactly the same way, enabling full trend analysis over time.
Every client business must be obsessed with their clients
We understand that you may have many ways to report on clients. How you report internally may be different to how you report externally, and different again to how you charge fees. Our solution gives you the option to aggregate clients in a number of ways yet also gives you the structures you need to standardise where necessary.
Other markers allow you to identify broader relationships allowing you to accurately estimate AUM at risk should a lead client leave or an Investment Manager move on.
At each stage of analysis, an automated client count gives further detail and an understanding of average client size at all points in your asset book.
A key selling point of our solution is the power of the roll ups. Client level data is at the lowest level of granularity, and that can simply be rolled up for a segmental or entity wide view. Guaranteed consistent reporting no matter what level of data is used.
Clients segmented by size to match your business structures
Once data is aggregated by client, users can define the asset value bands in which they reside. Options might include:
- Tiering clients into gold, silver or bronze categories.
- Matching tiers to the points at which the rate card percentages change.
All AUM and associated net flows are tracked in those bands allowing analysis of the quality of flows, achieved fees versus expected, or trend analysis of how a client moves through the tiers.
